英詩欣賞講座

Prof. Agnes Lam will share some of her favourite poems from Asian poets writing in English. The themes addressed include self, people and society. She will also read a few poems of her own including her award-winning poem, 'Vanilla in the stars', and share ideas on how to approach and understand poetry.

Agnes Lam is a Professor at the University of Hong Kong. She is internationally known as a poet, and some of her works have been translated into German, Italian and/or other languages. In 2008, she was awarded the Nosside International Poetry Prize (Special Mention) and was made Honorary Fellow in Writing by the University of Iowa.
